Stones Grow Her Name Review 

"Only the broken hearts make you beautiful, and one`s got to be mine". First song of the album, is a really nice song with unique and gnarly melodies like the ones in The Days of Grays and Unia... This song is a great start for the album and a little sign of the kind of songs it has. 

Shitload of Shit... A simple song with a party feel to it and some melodies in the piano that are worth to hear, but the chorus is just a shitload of shit that reminds me of 80`s hair metal bands (not saying those are bad)if you aren`t open minded better stay away from this song. 

Losing my Insanity probably most epic song on the album, soulful keyboard intro, nice simple riffs, but the chorus in this one it really sticks in your head, you will be loosing your insanity 

Somewhere close to you, nice progresive song pretty heavy, the chorus has a weird harmony going, epic. It`s a shame they don`t have this one live, is really powerful. 

I have a right to hate that stupid cliche song, i know it was meant to be a single and directed to a bigger audience than the rest of the songs, but this song is exactly the kind of song that makes me sick. I can bet even they are bored of playing such a boring song... 

Alone in Heaven is a nice beatifull balad, pretty simple, nothing too special in my opinion. 

The Day, the classical Reckoning night type of song, for those that like that style from Sonata more. Lovely song, and for some the lyrics are touching.

Cinderblox is a really really great song, lot of progressive going on the drums, and has a banjo on it, which makes it a really unique song in the heavy metal genre. It reminds a little bit to Apartment 54 from the demo days.

Don`t be mean... Beautiful typical ballad, i still haven`t gotten anything special from it, and i can swear the vocal melody is exactly the same of other songs. 

Wildfire part II - One with the mountain, nice song, reminds me of Falconer a little, really an innovative thing to Sonata style, great song also, worth to listen a lot. 

Wildfire Part III - Wildfire town population= 0, amazing power metal song with a huge amount of power in it. Is really nice to hear a song like that after all the soft song in The Days of Grays and Unia.

Tonight I Dance alone, a beautiful ballad, it owns easily Don`t be mean, great feel on it. 

One, Two, Three Fall, this one is like Nyan Cat song, pretty nice, progressive, beautiful, gotta listen to it. 

In general terms the album is great, easy to understand if you`ve listened to Unia and Days of Grays a few times... If you are a "Sonata fan" that still lives in the past and thinks the only song they have is Wolf And Raven this album is definitely not for you. I bet this album is a commercial success, and i hope so. 

Thanks to Sonata Arctica for that music, is still great
